NRC Media Display Offer Terms & Conditions
 

  1. Liabilities and Damages:
    1.1 NRC Media is responsible for the supply, installation, and setup of all digital display equipment. 
    1.2 The customer will be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to the display unit while it is installed at their premises. 
    1.3 Any damages incurred by the customer during the free trial or contract period will require compensation for repair or replacement of the display unit. 
    1.4 In the event of malfunction due to manufacturing defects or technical failures unrelated to customer misuse, NRC Media will cover the costs of repairs.
     
  2. Contract Terms & Payment Schedule:
    2.1 The customer has the option to proceed with a 1-year contract after the free trial period. 
    2.2 The monthly fee after the free trial is £78.00, paid via direct debit. 
    2.3 All payments are non-refundable. Late payments or failed direct debits may result in penalties or termination of the service. 
    2.4 The customer agrees to honour the contract for the full 12 months. Early termination by the customer will result in a penalty fee equivalent to the remaining balance of the contract.
     
  3. Free Trial Period:
    3.1 The 30-day free trial period begins on the day of installation. 
    3.2 The customer may cancel at any time during the free trial without any financial or legal obligation. 
    3.3 If the customer does not cancel during the trial period, the contract will automatically roll into the 1-year agreement, and direct debit payments will commence at the rate of £78.00 per month.
     
  4. Installation and Access:
    4.1 NRC Media will arrange an installation date suitable for the customer and ensure proper setup. 
    4.2 The customer agrees to provide NRC Media personnel access to their premises for installation, routine maintenance, and removal of the display equipment when required. 
    4.3 Any necessary structural alterations required for installation (e.g., drilling) will be done with the customer’s consent, but NRC Media is not responsible for repairs to the customer’s premises after installation or removal of the display.
     
  5. Content Display:
    5.1 All display content will be created or approved by NRC Media to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards. 
    5.2 The customer may request specific content or advertisements to be shown, but NRC Media reserves the right to reject any content that violates laws, or company policies. 
    5.3 NRC Media holds no responsibility for legal disputes or claims arising from third-party content.
     
  6. Equipment Ownership:
    6.1 All display units and related equipment provided under this agreement remain the property of NRC Media. 
    6.2 The customer must return the display unit in good working order upon termination or expiration of the contract. Failure to do so will result in additional charges.
     
  7. Maintenance and Service:
    7.1 NRC Media will provide technical support and maintenance services during the contract period to ensure the display operates effectively. 
    7.2 The customer must report any issues or malfunctions promptly. 
    7.3 In the event of a technical issue, NRC Media will arrange repairs or provide a replacement unit if necessary, provided the issue is not caused by customer negligence.
     
  8. Service Interruptions and Force Majeure:
    8.1 NRC Media will make every effort to ensure uninterrupted display service but cannot be held liable for disruptions due to technical failures, internet outages, or external factors beyond its control (e.g., force majeure events such as natural disasters, strikes, or governmental actions). 
    8.2 In the case of a prolonged service interruption (exceeding 7 consecutive days), the customer may be entitled to a prorated refund for the affected period.
     
  9. Limitation of Liability:
    9.1 NRC Media’s liability is limited to the total amount paid by the customer for the service during the contract period. 
    9.2 NRC Media is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages (e.g., loss of business, loss of profits, or reputational damage) arising from the use or failure of the display. 
    9.3 The customer assumes all liability for claims arising from content displayed at their request.
     
  10. Contract Termination:
    10.1 NRC Media reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time if the customer fails to comply with these terms, including failure to make payments or damage to equipment. 
    10.2 The customer may terminate the contract by providing 15 days’ notice before the end of the 1-year term. If notice is not given, the contract will automatically renew for an additional 12 months. Early termination incurs fees as outlined in Section 2.4.
     
  11. Data Protection and Privacy:
    11.1 NRC Media will collect and process the customer’s data in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. 
    11.2 The customer consents to NRC Media using their business name and general data for the purpose of delivering the service, but not for unsolicited marketing unless explicitly agreed.
     
  12. Dispute Resolution:
    12.1 In the event of any dispute arising from this agreement, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue through negotiation before pursuing formal legal action. 
    12.2 If negotiation fails, the dispute will be settled under the laws of the United Kingdom.
     
  13. Amendments to Terms:
    13.1 NRC Media reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. 
    13.2 Any changes will be communicated to the customer in writing or via email, and continued use of the display following such amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
